Conducted point count surveys to investigate the role that anthropogenic noise has on local species diversity and density in the Colorado Front Range region.

Spatial Analysis of Wetland Presence & eBird Data | USA (2021)

Worked with a large (500+ GB) dataset in R. Subsetted, cleaned, and mined the data for an analysis of the bird species around Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge, North Dakota with landscape metrics.

Hired to work on a research crew studying Flammulated Owls with Dr. Brian Linkhart. Cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. 

Arctic Strategic Transportation and Resources (ASTAR) Road Development Least Cost Path Analysis | Colorado, USA (2020)

Developed a least cost path analysis for road development in the North Slope region of Alaska considering the role of land cover and terrain, with the goal of connecting six indigenous communities in the region. Worked in collaboration with Dr. Charlotte Gabrielsen (Colorado College) and Dr. Paul Leonard (Arctic Science Coordinator for the US Fish and Wildlife Service).

Influence of COVID-19 on the Movement of People | Colorado, USA (2020)

Initiated and created a GIS project displaying spatial and temporal data on how COVID-19 has influenced daily mobility via Apple Maps direction requests and stay-at-home orders. view project

Ceiba Foundation for Tropical Conservation

Surveyed the coastal dry forest via camera traps, collected baseline data on ghost crabs to investigate human impacts on coastal ecosystems, helped build a biological corridor, and educated local children on sustainability with the Ceiba Foundation for Tropical Conservation.
