about me

my story

I grew up in Portland, Ore. and picked up my first DSLR when I was 13. I began taking photos of everything thinking I'd find a niche to specialize in, but that still hasn't happened. I photograph portraits, wildlife, sports, travel, and of course any cute puppy stumbling by.

I'm an experienced layout editor and photographer, skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Photo Mechanic, with a background in biology.

I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in Organismal Biology & Ecology at Colorado College and hope to combine my interest in biology and photography to display ecology focused data in visually appealing ways.

I've more recently explored editorial and freelance photography. I work for a weekly school newspaper as a photographer, layout editor, and web developer.

Outside of work, I bring my camera on every adventure, photographing friends, climbing, and everyday life. Look for me photographing the changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic while I stand in line outside the grocery store.
