about me

my story

I grew up in Portland, Ore. and picked up my first DSLR when I was 13. I began taking photos of everything thinking I'd find a niche to specialize in, but that still hasn't happened. I photograph portraits, wildlife, sports, travel, and of course any cute puppy stumbling by.

I'm an experienced Layout Editor and Photographer, skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Photo Mechanic, with a background in biology.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Organismal Biology & Ecology from Colorado College and hope to combine my interests in biology and photography to display ecological data in visually appealing ways.

In additional to my freelance work, I've recently explored editorial photography and marketing videography. I’ve worked for a school newspaper as a photographer, layout editor, and web developer as well as for an international mobility and strengthening company that focuses on improving body movement through innovative tools and education.

Outside of work, I bring my camera on every adventure, photographing friends, climbing, and everyday life. Look for me photographing the pandemic puppy I adopted in August 2020.
